Tacky Board Test 08/09 - K2 Believer 159

Hafjell, 10/8/2008
K2 Believer has a lively pop and is very versatile according to our testers.

Impression of the graphic:
Smooth top-sheet in matte black where the design physically comes out. Very clean. The sole has a lot of K2 logos in strong colours.

Can remind of:
Can remind a bit of Rome Agent. Lots of the same features, but just a bit narrower.

How stiff is it:
Medium plus.

How is the side-cut:
Quick and stable when turning. Easy to control in all speeds.

How is the pop:
Good pop. A very lively board. Can even have fun with it on flat.

How is the response/manoeuvrability:
Quick to respond and is very precise. Easy to turn quickly when you need to and stable at the same time.

How is the board on park-jumps:
Very good. Feels stable and floats well out of the jump and with a controlled landing.

How is the board on rails:
It works, but might be a bit too stiff for a hardcore jibber. Ok for "every day jibbing" though.

How is the board in powder and at freeriding:
Good all-round features which works well in powder. It can handle high speeds and doesn't sink in low speeds.

Best suited for:
A very good board for those who know how to ride and want to develop their skills in all sorts of terrain.

Best feature:
The versatility.

Worst feature:
If your local boardshop doesn't stock it that might be the worst feature.
